Obituary: CLYDE “MONTY” EASTER III

Clyde “Monty” Easter, 59, left his earthly home, Monday, October 29, 2018.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Colonial Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.  Saturday at the funeral home with inurnment following in Beaver Island Baptist Church Cemetery.

Monty was born in Rockingham County on December 31, 1958.  He was a graduate of

Madison Mayodan High School and had attended RCC College.   He was employed as a pipe fitter and a welder.  He loved the beach and enjoyed listening to Southern rock music.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Clyde and Oakley Easter, Relus and Doris Mabe, Lester and Nettie Lee Tilley.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Mabe Gourley and stepdad David Turner Gourley;

father, Clyde M. Easter Jr. and stepmother Delois, Delois; brothers, Gregory Douglas Flynt and Bradley Todd Flynt and wife Kristi nephews, Joshua and Cameron Flynt; and grandmother, Margaret Flynt.

The family will receive friends at 251 Tilly Rd, Madison NC.

Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
