Got to Be NC Festival offers agricultural fun May 19-21

“The Got to Be NC Festival offers something for everyone, including farm animals, antique tractors, bluegrass competitions and a barbecue cook-off,” said Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler. “We encourage everyone to come celebrate the state’s $84 billion agriculture industry as we kick off the start of the growing season.”

May 2017 Classes and Screenings

Cone Health offers a variety of classes, screenings and support groups each month. Below are some of the programs that will be offered in May:

WILLIAM FRANK “JUNIOR” FINCANON

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday May 1, 2017 at Calvary’s Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenview Cemetery.

LOIS SLAUGHTER HAYDEN QUESINBERRY

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, May 2, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening, 6 – 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home.

JEWEL YOUNGER SMITH

A funeral service will be held at Fair Funeral Home Chapel at 3 pm on Sunday with visitation to be held from 2-3 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

ROBY RICHARD “RICKY” COLEMAN, Jr

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday at New Life Baptist Church 943 NE Market St. Reidsville, NC. Burial will be in Thompsonville Baptist Church Cemetery.

BOYD JAMES STEELE

The funeral service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, April 30, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Stoneville with Pastor Richard Stevens officiating. Entombment will follow in the Stoneville Cemetery with military honors.
