(Rockingham County, NC) – The Rockingham County Arts Council will host an intimate evening of original music featuring singer/songwriters Morgan Wade from Floyd, VA and regional favorites Seth Williams and Sam Foster of Whiskey Foxtrot. The concert will be held on the evening of February 14 on the campus of Rockingham Community College in Wentworth in the Auditorium of the Advanced Technologies Building.

Morgan Wade

Morgan Wade who exploded onto the Southwest Virginia music scene two years ago, plays a blend of country, folk and high-energy Americana. She was immediately noticed for her tremendous song writing and powerful voice.

At the Valentine’s Day concert, Morgan will be playing to her Americana roots and sharing original music that delivers an intersection of rock, country, and folk that reflects the beauty, anger, hunger, and hope experienced from coming of age in modern Appalachia.

Whiskey Foxtrot is the moniker for the musical duo of Seth Williams and Sam Foster and their band. Both Seth and Sam had been performing separately for several years, and on various occasions would perform shows together. Whiskey Foxtrot was formed by Seth and Sam in the summer of 2017. The group is influenced by Blackberry Smoke, American Aquarium, Waylon Jennings, The Allman Brothers Band, Tom Petty, and The Eagles to name a few. Their music is a combination of country, blues, and rock ‘n roll.
