FRANK EDWARD TURMAN
(Eden, NC) – Mr. Frank Edward Turman, 51, of 521 C Street, Apt. D in Eden passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 5, 2010 at Boone-Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Turman was born in Rockingham County on June 30, 1958, a son of Margaret Earles Turman and the late William Walter Turman. He was a kitchen manager with Libby Hill Restaurant. He was a US Army veteran and a member of McKendree United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Genia Thomasson Turman of the home; his daughters, Amanda Foster and husband Carl of Greensboro, and Pamela Turman of the home; his sons, Matthew Thomasson and friend Rachel Lane of Raleigh, and Cory Turman of the home; his mother, Margaret Earles Younger and step father, Douglas Younger, of Halifax, Va.; his sisters, Victoria Turman Williams and husband Roy L., and Patricia T. Fulenwider, all of Crane Hill, Ala.; his brother, Roy Kenneth Turman of South Boston, Va.; his grandchildren, Alexander Foster and Mason Foster; his niece, Donna Brumfield of Keeling, Va. and his nephews, Bradley Lynn Williams and Michael Carroll Fulenwider, both of Crane Hill, Ala.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Carroll Fulenwider.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. immediately preceding the service at Boone-Reynolds Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
