One Suspect Is Arrested in Connection to Colonial Inn Shooting
On Wednesday, March 17, 2010, Reidsville Police arrested Joshua Leo Conner on an outstanding warrant charging him with Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury. The arrest stems from a shooting incident which occurred on 03-11-2010 at the Colonial Inn on Barnes Street in Reidsville. The victim, Dyson Murrelle Anderson, was shot numerous times while sitting in a vehicle that was in the rear parking lot of the business. Two black males were seen running from the scene.
Conner was placed under a $250,000 secured bond. His court date is set for March 31, 2010 in Rockingham District Court. The investigation is being continued by Acting Lieutenant D.
