(Eden, NC) – The Eden Police Department has released the following reports. If you or anyone you know has any information concerning these reports, you are asked to contact the Eden Police Department at (336) 623-9755.

· On Monday, February 22, 2010, Norma Jean Hairston of 469 Jerlene Lane, Axton, Virginia, reported that she received an overdraft notice from New Bridge Bank. After checking with the bank, she discovered that someone had used her debit card by calling Bunnie’s Flowers located at North Bridge Street on February 16, 2010 and ordering flowers. She reported that has not let anyone use her card and that she has her card in her possession. There are no suspects at this time. The investigation continues.

· On Monday, February 22, 2010, Faye Crider Perdue of 1925 Scott Street, Eden, N.C., reported that someone stole a 14K yellow gold men’s ring with six diamonds valued at $1,400 and one 14k yellow gold princess cut diamond band valued at $900 from her residence. There is a suspect in the case. The investigation continues.

· On Monday, February 22, 2010, William Alfred Harden, Jr. of 1736 Amos Street, Reidsville, N.C., was charged and arrested on a citation for Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia after a vehicle traffic stop on Fieldcrest Road, Eden, N.C. He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 22, 2010.

· On Monday, February 22, 2010, Vonya Pethford of 229 Cedar Street, Eden, N.C., was arrested for Communicating Threats after threatening to injure Zakina Staples by stating he was going to slap her. He is to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 2, 2010.

· On Monday, February 22, 2010, Terrace Lemont Cobb of 215 Hall Street, Reidsville, N. C., was arrested on a warrant service for Failure to Appear in court on a Driving While License Revoked charge. He was confined in the Rockingham County Jail under a $500 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth district court on March 22, 2010.

· On Monday, February 22, 2010, Melissa Marie Craven of 1615 Ridge Avenue, Eden, N.C. reported that her 1997 Dodge Interpid had been stolen during the night from the roadway in front of her residence. The vehicle had been unlocked with the keys left in the vehicle.

· On Tuesday, February 23, 2010, George Edward Brown of 619 Flynn Street, Eden, N.C., reported that someone scratched the paint on his 2000 Ford Expedition and cracked the front glass. Estimated damage is $800. There are no suspects at this time. The investigation continues.

· On Tuesday, February 23, 2010, Christopher D. Atkins of 422 Moir Street, Apt. A., Eden, N.C., was arrested for Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver Crack Cocaine. He was confined in the Rockingham County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 2, 2010.

· On Tuesday, February 23, 2010, Hal Gregory Malloy, Jr. of 1022 Georgia Avenue, Apt. 8, Eden, N.C., was charged and arrested on a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (a homemade tin-foil pipe containing marijuana residue after a vehicle traffic stop on Stadium Drive, Eden, N.C. He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on April 27, 2010.

· On Wednesday, February 24, 2010, Jeannie Moore, an employee of D & M Motors, reported that she had received a call from an Oscar Gomes saying that he was going to open a used car lot in Danville, Virginia, a wanted D & M Auto to pick up six vehicles at the airport in Greensboro and store the vehicles for him. He wanted Ms. Moore to pay the shipping company who shipped the vehicles and he would reimburse D & M. She asked him how he would be paying D & M. He gave her a credit card number, but Ms. Moore became suspicious and after checking into the matter, learned that it was a scam. The investigation continues.

· On Thursday, February 25, 2010, Jackie Miranda Allen of 215 Dunn Street, Eden, N.C., was arrested for Possession of Valium. She was placed under a $500 unsecured bond. She is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 23, 2010.

· On Thursday, February 25, 2010, Conway James Odell of 1216 Lewis Street, Eden, N.C., was arrested for Violation of a Protective Order by returning to the plaintiff’s residence. He was confined in the Rockingham County Jail with no bond. He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 29, 2010.

· On Thursday, February 25, 2010, Barbara Collins Sartin of 515 Flynn Street, Eden, N.C., reported that someone kicked in the back door of her residence and stole a SKS rifle with 20 round banana clip valued at $300, one Marlin .357 lever-action rifle valued at $50 and one SKS style pellet gun valued at $35. There is a suspect in the case. The investigation continues.

· On Thursday, February 25, 2010, Moises Zuniga of 1121 Carolina Avenue, Eden, N.C., reported that he had been checking the property at 1130 Carolina Avneue, Eden, N.C., for his sister-in-law while she was away. Mr. Zuniga reported that six bags of aluminum cans valued at $5 had been stolen. The investigation continues.

· On Friday, February 26, 2010, Sharlene Moyer Lyons of 404 Kings Drive, Eden, N.C., reported that someone entered her unlocked door at her residence and stole two plain gold wedding bands valued at $40, one gold wedding band with three diamonds valued at $50, one diamond engagement ring, and one gold ring with 10 diamonds in a cluster valued at $200. There are no suspects at this time. The investigation continues.

· On Friday, February 26, 2010, Ashley Chilton of 502 Enright Street, Eden, N.C., reported that someone stole her pink with hearts purse which contained a food stamp card, a Sheetz’s credit card, and her Social Security card. There is a suspect in the case. The investigation continues.

· On Friday, February 26, 2010, Jamie Lynn Hensley of 1913 Scott Street, Eden, N.C., was arrested on a warrant service for Communicating Threats and Harassing Phone Calls. Hensley did threatening to whip her ass and by telephoning Katie Ann Bennett repeatedly for the purpose of annoying and harassing her. She was released on a written promise to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 26, 2010.

· On Friday, February 26, 2010, Patricia Arthur Frith of 1421 Fieldcrest Road, Apt. D., Eden, N.C. reported that $25, Xanax pills, and her ATM card had been stolen from her. She reported that the ATM card was used to withdraw $200 from the ATM. Her vehicle had also been used without her permission. There is a suspect in the case. The investigation continues.

· On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Charles William Kyles of 215 Greenwood Street, Eden, N.C., reported that one Bersa .380 handgun valued at $500, one Ria .45 handgun valued at $500, one Kel Tec .380 handgun valued at $500, one Glock .45 handgun valued at $500, one gold diamond ring valued at $250, and one Harley Davidson key valued at $3.00 had been stolen from his residence. There is a suspect in the case. The investigation continues.

· On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Kimberly Anne Lawson of 1020 Georgia Avenue, Apt. 7, Eden, N.C. reported her boyfriend, Shawn Durand Oliver, missing. He advised that the last time she saw him was around 6:00 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2010, when he left for work. Oliver was wearing his blue stripped shirt with a name tag, dark blue pants, and brown boots. He is described at a 30-year-old black male, 6 feet tall, 160 lbs., brown hair with balding in the front and center of head, brown eyes, and wears glasses. Oliver drives a faded red 1990 Chevrolet Cavalier with chrome wheels. The investigation continues.

· On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Linda Nunn Haley of 1788 Maple Drive, Danville, Virginia, reported that someone had used her credit card to purchase food orders valued at $200. The investigation continues.

· On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Byrone Dale Oaks of Apt. 6E, Knollwood Apartments, Eden, N.C., was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. He was confined in the Rockingham County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 18, 2010.

· On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Dawn Rae Horsley of 628 Monroe Street, Apt. F-2, Eden, N.C., was arrested on a warrant service for Assault. Horsley did unlawfully and willfully assault Jamie Hensley by stomping her and hitting her with a piece of wood. She was released on a written promise to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 26, 2010.

· On Saturday, February 27, 2010, William Reece Reynolds of 700 Long Street, Eden, N.C., was arrested on a warrant service for Assault. Reynolds did unlawfully and willfully assault Jamie Hensley by striking her and kicking her. He was released on a written promise to appear to in Wentworth District Court on March 26, 2010.

· On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Katie Ann Bennett of 642 Long Street, Eden, N.C., was arrested on a warrant service for Assault. Bennett did unlawfully and willfully assault Jamie Hensley by kicking her in the head. She was released on a written promise to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 26, 2010.

· On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Chris Adkins of 628 Monroe St., Apt. 2F, Eden, N.C., was arrested on a warrant service for Assault and Injury to Personal Property. Adkins did unlawfully and willfully assault Jamie Hensley by kicking her and did unlawfully and willfully did wantonly injure personal property, a Samsung “My Shot” cell phone, the property of Jamie Hensley. He was released on a written promise to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 26, 2010.

· On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Tina Lynn Bennett of 700 Long Street, Eden, N.C., was arrested for Assault. Bennett did unlawfully and willfully did assault Jamie Hensley by coming at her with a pocket knife and trying to cut her.

· On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Shawn Michael Gearheart of 129 Piedmont Street, Eden, N.C. was arrested for Assault, False Imprisonment, and Injury to Personal Property. Gearheart did unlawfully and willfully assault Theresa Ashley Denton, a female person, by dragging victim by her hair, grabbing the victim and pushing victim down, and biting the victim. Gearheart did unlawfully and willfully did intentionally and unlawfully restrain and detain Theresa Ashley Denton from leaving the premises of 1014 Apt. 3, Georgia Avenue, Eden, N.C., by blocking the door and not allowing her to leave the bedroom. Gearheart did unlawfully and willfully and wantonly injure personal property, a 2007 Nissan Versa’s left passenger side door, in excess of $200. Gearheart did unlawfully and willfully and wantonly injure personal property, a Motorola 1776W, in excess of $200.

· On Saturday, February 27, 2010, Albert Newman Wilkins of 758 Jefferson Street, Eden, N.C., was getting out of his vehicle at his residence when a Pit Bull tried to attack him. He was able to get back in his vehicle. The dog starting jumping on the vehicle and scratched it. The investigation continues.

· On Sunday, February 28, 2010, Joshua Robert Garland of 232 E. Meadow Road, Eden, N.C., was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (smoking pipe). He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on April 15, 2010.

· On Sunday, February 28, 2010, John Curtis Priddy of 733 Miles Street, Eden, N.C., was arrested on a warrant service for two counts of Assault. Priddy did unlawfully and willfully assault Sherry Priddy and Johnny Artis by pointing a BB gun at them. He was confined in the Rockingham County Jail under a $1,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 24, 2010.

· On Sunday, February 28, 2010, Robert Lewis Dalton of 417 Airport Blvd., Morrisville, N.C., reported that someone broke into a house that he used to live in at 960 Harris Street, Eden, N.C. Dalton was in the process of moving out of the house on Harris Street. He discovered that entry was made through a bedroom window and that his 27 inch Fisher television valued at $100, a 3 Disc CD changer/player valued at $f0, a toaster oven valued at $20, and a jar of $20 in coins had been stolen. There is a suspect in the case. The investigation continues.
