Eden To Create Matrimony Creek Nature Trail With $100,000 Grant From Duke Energy

(Eden, NC) – The City of Eden received a $100,000 grant to continue its commitment to protecting and enhancing regional waterways and the environment by creating the Matrimony Creek Nature Trail on the western section of the city. The grant is part of the Water Resources Fund, a $10 million commitment from Duke Energy.

RALEIGH – The State Farmers Market will host a strawberry dessert contest Thursday, May 4, as part of its annual Strawberry Day celebration. Contestants can submit their favorite strawberry dessert for a chance at prize money and bragging rights.

Wheels On The Greenway Event Set For May 7, 2017

GREENSBORO, N.C. (April 3, 2017) – The Downtown Greenway, a collaborative economic development project between the City of Greensboro and Action Greensboro, has planned a biking event for all ages. The event will be held on Sunday, May 7th from 2:00-4:00 pm at Morehead Park on the Downtown Greenway located at 475 Spring Garden Street.

Rock fans across North America can look forward to LIFEHOUSE & SWITCHFOOT together for the first time on the “Looking for Summer” Tour, delivering 30+ shows to venues across the U.S. and Canada. The tour kicks off July 23 at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO and will run into the fall, culminating at The Masonic in San Francisco on September 10. Up-and-coming songstress Brynn Elliott will open every night of the tour.
