Local Meals on Wheels Program “Shares the Love”

Since 1987, ADTS has been delivering meals to homebound seniors across Rockingham County and every year we see the need grow. Through the generous support of our community and a team of devoted volunteers, we provided more than 41,000 meals last year alone!

(Reidsville, NC) – Aging, Disability & Transit Services of Rockingham County is proud to announce that it has received a $10,000 Respite Care grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. The Respite Care Grant Program recognizes family caregivers and the vital role they play by supporting nonprofits that address the episodic respite care needed to prevent caregiver ‘burn out’.

LEAF Adult Day Center to offer Music and Memory Program

Plato once said, “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” We’ve all experienced the power of music; a song comes on the radio and instantly you’re transported to another time and place.

Local Trainings Support Family Caregivers

In the upcoming months we are offering a series of caregiver trainings at our Adult Day Health Center located at 104 N. Washington Avenue in Reidsville.
