Proposed Fox Trapping and Hunting Law Changes

The Rockingham County Hunting Advisory Committee will hold a public forum on March 10, 2011, 7:00 p.m. at the Agricultural Services Building, 525 Hwy 65 in Wentworth to hear the proposed Fox Trapping and Hunting Law changes allowing the taking of foxes by firearms, bow and arrow, and crossbow during any open small game season and by trapping from November 1 through February 28. An educational meeting on “Coyotes and Feral Dogs in our Future” will also be held. Persons interested are invited to attend and to participate in the public forum
