15th Annual Celebration of the Dan River Basin Association Set For March 4

Come to the Fifteenth Annual Celebration of the Dan River Basin Association (DRBA) at the Virginia Museum of Natural History in Martinsville, VA, on Saturday, March 4. Beginning at 9:30 a.m. with refreshments and displays, the celebration will feature a renowned scientist, Dr. Andrew Dolloff, Fishery Research Biologist at the Center for Forest Watershed Research, who will share surprising information about our rivers’ inhabitants.

Eden Man Killed In Self-Defense; Martinsville Man Arrested On Weapons Charge

(Henry County, VA) – During the investigation into the homicide of Michael Deangelo Graves, 28 of 1621 East Meadow Rd., Eden, NC it was determined that Graves and his brother, Charles Rydell Flood Jr. had driven to 2052 Stoney Mountain Rd. to confront the occupants of the home about a domestic related issue.
