MARC To Host High Rock Ford Lectures September 14th and 21st

High Rock Ford is located in Southeastern Rockingham County on the Haw River, the lectures will cover its local, state, and national significance as the regions first mill site and a Revolutionary War camp site and staging area for the Battle of Guilford Courthouse

MARC: Free Constitution Day, Photo Contest Set For Sept. 17

Eat, Read, Learn: Greens to be held Feb. 18 at MARC

WENTWORTH, NC – The Museum and Archives of Rockingham County (MARC) will host “Eat, Read, Learn: Greens” on Saturday, February 18 at 1 p.m. This program will explore the history of Southern Food and Soul Food, family culinary traditions and memories, and how foodways evolve over time.
