From Forrest’s Perspective: Library Board Meeting – June 12, 2017

There were about twenty-five people present besides the board members.  The meeting was mostly to discuss a new administration building or find space in one of the county’s present buildings.

Food for Fines Set For May 22nd – June 10th At County Public Libraries

Donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted at the branches even if there are no fines to waive. It’s a great way to give back to the community and a great way to get ready for summer reading.

(Rockingham County, NC) – April is Poetry Month and Rockingham County Public Library is pleased to announce the names of the winners of the annual Teen Poetry Contest. The contest was open to young writers between and ages of 11 and 19 years old. Each writer could submit one poem.
